Capacity update · 2026

2026 capacity is fully committed.

All capacity scheduled for delivery in 2026 is committed, the majority under multi-year agreements that extend through 2029. Government cloud now represents 89% of revenue, and our consumer service, at 5%, is closed to new accounts. We continue to onboard federal agencies, government clients, and cleared federal contractors for 2027 through 2029.

Federal onboarding continues

We continue to onboard federal agencies, government clients, and cleared defense contractors. New workloads are scheduled for 2027 through 2029, with a limited reserve held for authorized national security requirements.

Consumer service is closed

Hosting for consumers and small businesses represents 5% of revenue and is closed to new accounts indefinitely. This capacity has been reallocated to authorized government workloads, and we are not maintaining a waiting list.

Existing customers are not affected

Every current customer retains full service for the contracted term. Upgrades, reductions, and expansion capacity remain available exactly as specified in your agreement, and are reserved ahead of new customers.

Where our capacity is committed

Long-term government commitments

Across the industry, demand for authorized government cloud and AI computing has outpaced the supply of hardware and cleared support staff. As shorter commercial and consumer agreements came up for renewal, we committed that capacity to long-term government agreements. Existing consumer customers retain their service under current terms.

Common questions

What this means for you

All questions

Yes, for federal work. We continue to onboard federal agencies, government clients, and cleared federal contractors. Because 2026 capacity is fully committed, new engagements are scheduled for 2027 through 2029, unless the workload qualifies for our limited reserve for authorized national security requirements. Begin with a briefing request.

No. Our consumer service is closed to new accounts indefinitely. It represents 5% of revenue, and its capacity has been reallocated to authorized government workloads. We are not maintaining a waiting list. Existing consumer customers retain their service under current terms.

No. Existing customers are not affected by this update. Service continues without interruption, and all contracted upgrade, reduction, and expansion rights are honored as written. Expansion capacity for current customers is reserved ahead of new customers.

Agencies and their contractors are moving AI and data-intensive workloads to authorized infrastructure faster than the industry can add hardware and cleared support staff. These programs commit for multiple years, with many of our agreements extending through 2029. As commercial and consumer agreements concluded, we allocated that capacity to long-term government commitments.

Pricing is provided for each engagement during a briefing rather than from a standard rate card. With 2026 capacity fully committed, new engagements are generally priced toward the upper end of the indicative range and fixed for the contract term. See pricing for how a configuration is scoped.
